Bijan Sarhangpour is the previous owner and the current CIS Director of Baku Oil Services (BOS). He’s also a fencing Asian champion who has competed on dozens of occasions. Mr. Sarhangpour holds multiple medals and is also passionate about sports like running and swimming.

Supporting the Sport

Bijan Sarhangpour teamed up with BOS and Enermech Azerbaijan to sponsor the Azerbaijan Fencing Club in Baku in 2016. He also met in Dubai with the Iranian Fencing National Team in November 2016, at which time he agreed to support the next fencing generation in Isfahan, helping young fencers by providing them with fencing equipment.

In 2018, Mr. Sarhangpour and BOS announced that the project was complete. It was named Rouzbeh Sarhangpour Fencing Academy in honor of Mr. Sarhangpour’s son, who passed away in 2016.
